For Installers · Framing Crews · Erectors

Frames are shipping.
Somebody has to stand them.

Gage matches builders and prefab brands to steel fabricators. Every one of those jobs ends with a truck of panelized cold-formed steel arriving on a site that needs a crew. Be the crew.

What comes off the truck

A panel package, not a pile of studs.

Labeled panels

Every wall, floor and roof panel arrives with its own label matching the layout drawings. Read the label, find it on the plan, stand it.

A panel schedule

Sequence, weights and counts from the fabricator, so you know what comes off the truck first and what the crane or crew is lifting.

Layout drawings

Plans and elevations with every panel called out, plus the connection details the engineer specified.

No cutting, no welding

Cold-formed steel is screwed, not welded, and the panels are cut to length in the shop. Site work is layout, plumb, fasten, brace.

New to steel

Never stood steel? You're most of who we're talking to.

Most great framing crews have never touched cold-formed steel, and that's fine. This is not welding and it is not a career change. Panels arrive shop-built, pre-punched, and labeled to the drawings. Site work is layout, plumb, fasten, brace. Crews that know wood framing pick up the system in weeks, not years. When you join, a person from Gage walks your crew through the panel package before your first job, and a certification program is coming that puts trained crews first in line for work in their region.

How it works

Jobs find you. Gage pays you.

Gage is where the frame gets priced and built. When a frame is heading to a site in your region, the install comes with it as part of the package. You confirm your rate for the scope, stand the frame, and Gage pays you on sign-off. No bidding, no invoicing, no chasing a builder for payment.

You hear about the job with the delivery date, the panel count and the drawings, before the truck leaves the shop.

1

Tell us where you work

Company, crews, region, and how much light-gauge you have stood. Five minutes.

2

We verify and add you to the network

A person from Gage talks to you about the panel package, site expectations, and how install work is priced.

3

Frames ship into your region

When a builder or prefab brand near you needs a crew, you hear about it first: the job, the site, the delivery date, the panel count.

4

Confirm your rate, stand the frame, get paid

You confirm the install price for the scope before the truck leaves the shop. Stand it, walk the sign-off, and Gage pays you directly. Gage keeps the calendar and the record.

Where this stands

The installer network is new. Fabricators and builders are on Gage today; we are adding crews region by region as frames start shipping. Signing up puts you at the front of the line in yours, and a person will talk to you before any job is offered. Fabricators who also install can list that from their fabricator account. Crews that come in through their own builders keep those relationships direct; Gage only coordinates and pays on the jobs Gage brings.

Not a crew? Builders start at Submit a project. Fabricators apply here.

No fee, no commitment. A person reads every one of these.
